****Naming and shaming here**** Visited today as highly recommend with 2 adult family members. Ordered food it still hadn't arrived after 28 mins as we were on a tight schedule to attend an appointment, so we had to leave. My daughter had asked several times "How long the food was going to be?" When we explained we couldn't wait any longer, the woman bent down to my daughter SPRAYING SPIT in her face as she spoke to her, and refused our refund. My daughter has a hidden disability, she was polite and reasonable until you SPAT in her face. Yes, you were busy, but your rudeness was disgusting and that my daughter had to announce very loud "Stop spitting in my face and your very rude". Your customer service WAS a disgrace, then when my daughter spoke up, she was pushed and shoved several times towards the door. Thats PHYSICAL ASSAULT. Being so close to spray spit in her face, how much more unhygienic could you get, invading her personal space, its vile. You DEMANDING we have the food as a take away , when we had sat at a dirty table for over 30 minutes. Where we were enroute to has a no food policy. NO, NO AND NO. Your staff lied on it being the next table, when everyone else had been served. Refusing a refund, you hadn't even given us our food. THEFT comes to mind, paying for a service that doesn't deliver the goods. You then have the nerve to say my daughter needs to sort herself out. I approached the counter to say, we have to go and ask politely again for a refund, to be told "NO, NOT MY PROBLEM". So now I have to get a refund from my card issuer. You really are scum.

Staff are great, and the food is perfect. Recommend highly. I have been eating here every Thursday morning for 4 years with my father, and we love it.

Always lovely food but I wish the coffee was a bit stronger.The service and attitude to customers was exceptional as always.The cafe can get busy but as always when reviews are always brilliant people are going to go there.The sausage is to die for.Asked for supplier and deffo going to get some.Keep up the good work folks.

I love coming to work round here the whole reason Wells Lane cafe breakfast is amazing consistent every time I've being here had another amazing breakfast today staff are kind and always smiling keep it up

Breakfast stop before dance class. Usually have a small breakfast. Always willing to accommodate .menu changes. Good service friendly atmosphere

Emma gaffer very nice so is driver and Adelle food was late and got a full refund and sincere apology food was excellent too ordered chicken burger with chips coleslaw was delicious 😋😋 so was milkshake made by Adelle 😋😋

Went here today for the first time as we were passing. Food was lovely, served hot. Even had the option to substitute stuff we didn’t like off our breakfast when ordering. Shame we ain’t from the local area but will defo be going back again soon
